Jared Leto’s Hidden Passion

Actor and singer Jared Leto has a hidden passion, rock climbing.

“My real passion is an occupation no one knows about… I’m a closet rock climber. I love being on the edge.” - People Magazine

I guess that would explain why this 35-year-old broke his nose during a recent concert…… He felt the need to climb a two-story stage scaffolding in order to welcome the crowd by shouting “How are you motherf—ers?”

Jared is infamous for when he packed on 60 lbs. for his role as David Mark Chapman in the new Chapter 27.

“I gorged to get fat and I think my body went into shock,” Leto said. “It took me about a year to recover.” - People Magazine

How did he finally get back into shape? Not only is Jared a vegetarian, he also follows the Raw Food Diet:

“Health food,” said the strict vegetarian. “Everyday. I will eat anything that doesn’t have taste – like unsalted nuts, raw food and berries.” - People Magazine

Personally, he’s a little too skinny for my taste in men, but… What do you think???

Damon Wayans Illustrates The Importance Of Cooling Down

Damon Waynes was recently caught cooling down after a hard workout. This fit celeb has the right idea because cooling down after any exercise is just as important as warming up.

Cooling down, refers to the gradual slowing down of your activity level, which should take place at the end of your workout. However, I hate to admit it, but I am completely guilty of skipping the cool down phase. When I’m at home working out to a tape, as soon as the cheesy 1980’s cool down music begins, I hit the off button. However, I really need to stop doing this because …….. Cooling down helps you lower your heart rate, regulate your breathing, prevents dizziness, and helps to reduce next day soreness:

Post Exercise Muscle Soreness, also referred to as Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS), is one of the areas where cooling down after exercise is most useful. This is the soreness that is generally faced the day after a strenuous workout. When exercise is suddenly stopped blood, and waste products like lactic acid (a chemical effect of muscular fatigue), stay in the muscles, which can cause swelling and pain. This process is frequently referred to as ‘blood pooling’. Cooling down after exercise helps in returning the blood to the heart in adequate quantities to relieve the muscles off lactic acid. Oprah Winfrey had made no secret that she struggles with her weight and hates to work out (Sound familiar?). With the help of trainer Bob Greene the talk show queen has finally found a diet that works for her. She eats a diet rich in lean protein, fruits and vegetables and limits alcohol, refined carbs and sugar. She also doesn’t eat close to bedtime.

How Does Victoria Beckham Fit Into Her Skin Tight Pants?

Earlier this week INO covered Victoria Beckham wearing these skin tight leather pants - which got me to thinking… How does this girl actually fit into these skin tight “bottie huggers”?  Then, I started to visualize The Skinny Jeans Dance. I know some of you ladies out there know what I’m talking about. First, you suck in as much air as possible…. Then, you hold your breath and zip as fast as you can…. Next, you throw yourself on the bed for the final step….. The dreaded button……

So how does Posh Spice stay slim enough to fit in these itsy-bitsy black pants. And more importantly, what happens when she has to go to the bathroom??????

Her previous favoured food was said to be steamed fish and edamame beans. Her latest weight-loss diet, however, is claimed to consist of prawns and strawberries. - DailMail.Com

What’s her fitness routine? Unlike her super fit husband David Beckham, Posh hates working out. Instead, she just significantly limits her calorie intake. So much so that …..

That’s a bad sign…… I love Posh’s style, but I’m not a fan of her nutrition habits. Unfortunately, I think that this size zero singer has crossed over to the dark side of dieting.

If you have a weakness for tortilla chips and salsa like I do, here’s some good news for you. 

Tortilla chips made from blue corn have 20 percent more protein than their white corn counterparts, finds a study in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture. The tinted snack gets its blue hue from anthocyanins, disease-fighting compounds also found in blueberries and red wine. Still, they have 140 calories and 7 grams of fat per 15-chip serving, so stop at a handful and be sure to scoop up salsa instead of creamy dips.

Hey, at least we can enjoy 15 instead of feeling guilty for them!
