Oprah’s Big Secret

Oprah Winfrey had made no secret that she struggles with her weight and hates to work out (Sound familiar?). With the help of trainer Bob Greene the talk show queen has finally found a diet that works for her. She eats a diet rich in lean protein, fruits and vegetables and limits alcohol, refined carbs and sugar. She also doesn’t eat close to bedtime.

    Love fruits and veggies. especially fruits. I can eat buckets of fruits a day, but somehow I manage to not fit into my jeans. Ok ok I gave birth to a daughter 2 months ago, however Nicole Richie did the same and she’s skinny like a stick…Ughhghghghg

    I’ve done that diet and it worked for me. I have insulin resistance. It’s really hard. Lately it’s been very hard for me to be strict on it…so i’ve cheated a lot. oprah inspires me because she doesnt have an easy metabolism. she’s like me!

    I personally would never follow a diet that Oprah promotes….she is into fad diets that well, don’t ever seem to work long-term. However, these basics seem healthy and along the lines of something that I try to follow. Refined sugar is evil!! It gets in the way of a healthy metabolism.
