Trista Sutter’s Secret To Her Post Baby Bod

Trista Sutter, star of “The Bachelorette“, has made no secret about her struggle with losing weight after giving birth. She is featured in the March 31, 2008 issue of OK! magazine with her husband and baby, and once again speaks about how she lost weight post-baby. Here’s what she had to say:

“It’s not like you can snap your fingers! I worked with a trainer and took this all-natural supplement called Abdominal Cuts by Revolution. It trims your midsection. The biggest tip: anything in moderation!”

 Also, since the feature is on Trista and Ryan with their son in Colorado, here’s some fun tips that may help you:

  • Downhill Skiing: Burns 227 calories
  • Cross Country: 296 Calories
  • Snow walking: 150 Calories

I love honest celebrities.   Many celebs down play their obsession with diet and exercise.  Not Julianne Moore.  When she was asked about her secret to looking fit she explained:

“I still battle with my diet.  I’m hungry all the time.  All actresses are hungry all the time.” - OK Magazine

Although I admire her candid honesty, I wouldn’t recommend this approach to dieting.  Experiencing hunger isn’t a good thing.   When you are hungry, you are more than likely to embark on an overeating binge, and:

“muscles have to break down to make glucose because the brain can’t survive with out it.” - OK Magazine

Instead, try snacking on some fruits, vegetables, or yogurt to hold you over until your next meal.

Green Tea has been the rage for quite some time now, and with good reason. It helps with weight loss and helps fight against cancer. It contains EGCG, a catechin (plant compound) which stimulates metabolism and has anti-cancer properties to boot. Green tea also contains theanine, a natural relaxant which helps explain why the caffeine in green tea doesn’t make you nearly as jittery as coffee.

There is a green tea frappuccino drink from Starbucks ..I’m sure that it has a little more calories than regular green tea, but it must be good just the same! You gotta give yourself a treat once in awhile…
