Hi Vera!
I’m an Italian girl who reads you site daily and I find it great!
I really love the new part, FitCeleb, so I have a question for you.
I’m really obsessed about fitness and I do everything to stay in
shape; the body that I like is not a scary skinny body like Victoria
Beckham’s, I prefer a healthy body like Jessica Biel’s.
I’m vegetarian and I’m really interested in what Jessica eats to stay
in shape; can you give some information about her?Thank you you’re great!

Although Jessica has admitted to trying fad diets (like - “no sugar, flour, no dairy and no salt — some rice cakes and brown rice”), she now eats a sensible 6 small meals a day for six days a week. On the seventh day, Jessica indulges in whatever she wants!
“I think everything in moderation is the key,” says Biel. “I do slip,” admits Jessica. “I love my food. I stuff my face all the time! I eat very healthy, I work out a lot, but you have to cheat. You have to go out and go to fabulous restaurants and just eat and enjoy it and drink great wine.” “I know how hard it is,” she says. “But there’s no pill, no magic drink.” - ifitandhealthy.com
Jessica has no desire to be the typical Hollywood size zero, instead:
“I’d like to be a role model for young girls. You don’t have to be stick skinny to be gorgeous,” says Jessica. “Muscles are beautiful. Strong bodies, working out and eating healthily is beautiful.” - ifitandhealthy.com
So how can you get a celebrity body like Jessica Biel:
- Eat three small healthy meals and three snacks daily for six days.
- Treat yourself to one cheat day a week.
- Sorry ladies but if you want to look like Jessica - you have to hit the gym a grueling 6 days a week!
- Eat “Clean foods”— those that aren’t processed.
- Eat complex carbs at the beginning of the day and taper them off by the early evening.
- Try the below sample menu from Jessica’s daily diet:
- Breakfast: 1 cup of oatmeal with handful of berries.
- Snack: 1 slice whole wheat toast, 1-1 ½ tbsp. of almond butter and sliced bananas on top.
- Lunch: Salad with 5-6 oz of chicken, vinaigrette dressing.
- Snack: A banana, apple or strawberries.
- Dinner: 6oz. of fish, plate full of veggies, 1/2 cup of low-glycemic basmati rice.

April 1st, 2008 @ 5:09 ami have to agree with the hitting the gym 6 days a week part–i went to college with jessica and she was in the gym EVERY day for several hours each day!!! i’m sure she maintains an even *more* rigid schedule now that she’s moved up and on away toward a larger celebrity status now (in college, she was still in 7th heaven).
