Kate Hudson’s Diet & Work Out Plan

Fitceleb Kate Hudson is featured on the cover of People’s100 Most Beautiful” issue. Anyone agree or disagree with that title? Kate speaks to People about what it was like to lose the weight after her pregnancy with son Ryder, her diet and workout habits. This fitceleb is the most beautiful because she is so laid back about everything! She has such a cool, calm and collective attitude. I wish I can have that attitude at her level. It must be the Californian in her! Read on to see what she had to say about trying to lose the weight after her pregnacy:

“You can’t help what your genes are. My mom (Goldie Hawn) was way skinnier than I am. With the Hudson gene, I got a little more girth on me, but we’re a skinny family. I learned what it felt like to have that much weight on me. Because it affects you emotionally. Even now, I quit smoking, and I gained weight the first month.”

Kate on what her diet is like:

“When I’m working, I give myself one day a week to splurge, usually Friday night. Otherwise I just try to stay away from wheat, dairy and white flour. I love food so much. The desert island food for me would be pizza. I love pineapple on pizza. I like pepperoni. I always have a Tombstone in the fridge.”

Kate on her work out habits:

“I take a jazz class, and we’re a big bike-riding family. But predominantly dance, Pilates and running.”

I think it’s obvious Kate is blessed with “skinny” genes, but her approach to diet and exercise hasn’t always been this wholesome and laid back. Remember the crazy workout and diet regime she went on to lose 60 lbs of post-pregnancy weight in only four months? She basically starved herself and worked out for three or four hours a day, six days a week.

That’s why I can’t help thinking that she, like most other Hollywood celebs, isn’t being completely honest about how she maintains such a small frame. (Think Julianne Moore’s recent comments that she, and other actresses, are hungry all the time.) The key is in the quote: “When I’m working, I give myself one day a week to splurge…” In other words, she’s probably incredibly strict about her calorie intake and exercises much more than she’s admitting.

Yeah, dairy can really put weight on some people, and in the wrong places! I really try to steer clear of the stuff cause I’ve taken note that I gain weight mostly on my tummy.
