Britney Spears’ Trainer Is Amazed By Her Dedication
Even Britney Spears was spotted yesterday leaving Bally’s Total Fitness looking like she’s in a good mood. Her trainer, Marc Corliss, is shocked by how dedicated she has been to her workouts. He says it’s because of her commitment to the gym and how hard she exercises that has helped her lose 15 pounds in 4 weeks. Marc says she’s one of the best clients he’s ever had because she does everything he wants her to do and has no problems working out on her own as well.
“She’s been training hard for the past four weeks, doing about 500 or so abdominal exercises every day. And she’s seeing a major difference already.”
Brit also does interval training such as sprints mixed with weight training about 4 days a week.
“She’s a real go-getter, super upbeat and fun to be around. She’s motivated and positive; she’s definitely on the right track. I’m training her the way I would train an athlete. With her dance background, she’s already in better shape than most people.”

15 lbs in 4 weeks? Seriously? Well, first of all, it goes without saying that losing nearly 4 lbs a week isn’t at all healthy; but second, she really doesn’t look like she’s lost that much. (I’m not saying she looks bad, by the way — just not like she’s lost 15 lbs!)
May 8th, 2008 @ 1:54 pmit doesn’t look like she’s lost 15 lbs….Actually i think she looks about the same she was a couple of months ago….don’t see any changes in her body, and it’s normal ’cause she started dieting & workouting maybe a month ago…i hope she’ll stay healthy and normal and we’ll see her big comeback soon!

May 8th, 2008 @ 4:46 pmWell, good for her. I don’t see why people should have a go at her all the time, she’s been through alot and started all of this at a very early age. She deserves a break. I can’t stand her music, but I have nothing against her personally and can’t understand people who do.
Anyway… What I’m most impressed about is the copy of In Rainbows that she’s clasping… She may produce bloody awful music herself, but is this an indication that she has good taste?

May 9th, 2008 @ 8:40 amI lost 10-15 pounds in 21 days (I was on a fast). It is easy to drop 10 pounds in 1-2 weeks by fasting. Excercising will aid in loosing even more weight. Most of the initial weight is water weight - not a big deal.

May 12th, 2008 @ 3:31 pmThe first week of weight loss can be up to 7 LB’S. That is all water weight. After that a health weight loss is 1 to 2 1/2 LB’S a week. I lost over a 100 LB’S on Weight Watcher. . Brit is in the right direction. Keep up the good work with your weight loss.

It took a lot of dedication for her to get to the top and some mistakes brought her down. However, she still has more assets than most of these people knocking her down.

May 12th, 2008 @ 7:07 pmI have a high metabolism and can lose 10 lbs. in just a week. It is extremely easy for me to do this…All I have to do to lose weight is NOT eat 3 meals a day. If I only eat 2 meals a day, I will begin to lose weight. This is exactly what Brittany has too - a high metabolism. She stated this a while back in an interview. That’s why you see her get back into shape very quickly. Problem is, the older you get, the longer it will take you to actually get into shape, hence the out-of-shape body she had in her last concert appearance. She’s still thin by all means, but you can be thin and still be flabby.

Exercise is one of the best ways to combat mental health illness like depression—the discipline of a daily workout routine is what she needs to stay on track & make a great comeback–I’m routing for her! Hopefully this will make her a better mother too.
