Britney Spears Is Following The Posh Spice Diet

Britney Spears' new way to lose weight involves following Victoria Beckham's eating regime. And according to a British newspaper it's helped her drop down from a UK size 14 to a UK size 10. Correct me if I'm wrong, UK readers, but I believe that means she went from a U.S. size 10 to a 6.

"She's been eating steamed fish and edamame beans. She was told that's how Victoria stays so slim," says an LA mole. "She is also drinking goji berry juice and seaweed shakes to stave off hunger and starts each day with a cup of hot water and lemon."

That sounds awful. Why is she torturing herself rather than just eating sensible meals and working out?

Steamed fish, edamame, goji juice and seaweed are all very healthy - chock full of vitamins and minerals. But, the article doesnt mention in what amount she is eating these healthy things. So if she is starving herself, as so many do when they diet, then all the nutrients in the world will not keep her healthy. Hopefully, she is exercising and simply practicing portion control. Sadly, too many are obsessed with thin figures, often to the point of ill health. Fact: diet alone is not the answer. Exercise, healthy holistic foods and a new appreciation of self is what most people really need.

Amen! There's no way anyone could maintain that diet or really want to after more than a few days. Lifestyle change people...lifestyle.

I find this hard to believe cause she never a size 10. 7-8 maybe. I personally don't get why people do this either, especially when they can hire great chefs. I would be having 2 meals and 4-6 mini-meals/snacks a day all measured for healthy calorie/protein/fat/fibre etc. content. Why not??

I love Britney, but she honestly doesn't look like she has lost anyyyyy weight recently. If anything, she has looked bloated. But I wish her nothing but the best! And yes, that diet sounds awful!!!!!!!

She has to crash diet in order to melt those pounds off... once she is down to the size she wants.... then she can eat sensible meals and maintain the weight. Just how it works.....

Well she doesnt look like a uk size 10, you only get one size below that and that an 8, she looks like she could just squeeze into a size 12. I mean i am roughly 168 cm and weigh about 55kg and am around a uk size 10. Mel
