Quite a few celebrities arrived to an event for YES! on Prop 2: Stop Animal Cruelty fund raiser in Bel Air, California yesterday. Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres were there to help support the cause, as well as Emily Deschanel from the TV show, "Bones".  Also there lending their "star" power was the beautiful Heather Graham and Amy Smart. Out of all the guests, I liked Heather's bright and cheery dress best. Your thoughts?

Portia and Ellen look so happy together don't they!! It's really sweet. I know they are newlyweds, and everyone looks like this when first married. But it's still always nice to look at.

Can you IMAGINE getting an invitation to Ellen DeGeneres' wedding and then receiving the call saying you were uninvited? That happened to over 100 people after Ellen and Portia de Rossi felt their big day became too much to handle. Luckily for the happy couple, they had a wedding planner that took care of the awkward call.

"We had 150, 200 people originally, we were gonna do a huge wedding and then at the last minute, we called her (Mindy Weiss) and said, ‘Please call and uninvite everybody because we just can’t do it; it’s too stressful.’"

But the decision left some pals upset - because they thought they had been snubbed.

"We got calls from certain people thinking they were the only ones uninvited… They were offended."

DeGeneres insists she and her partner made the right decision:

"We did the right thing - we only asked, like, 21 people."

You know what? It was their day and if that's what made them happiest, I think that is all that matters. So many times people are invited out of courtesy or respect to other family members and the circus ensues. Their decision took a lot of courage!

Ok, so I started crying like :05 seconds in because I am just so happy for Ellen! Watch the whole video with a comedic twist from Ellen at parts. The day was just so beautiful! And Portia de Rossi's dress!!!

I could sit and listen to Ellen DeGeneres talk about how happy she is all day long. Portia de Rossi and Ellen are one Hollywood couple that I think will make it! Ellen is still glowing after the wedding. She said,

"What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world. She's officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she'll cook and clean for me."

Portia is just as happy!

"The love we felt from the people surrounding us, and the love we have for each other made this the most beautiful and emotional day. And one that we'll never forget."

I'm rooting for these two! How about you?

They did it!  Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are now blissfully married. Over the weekend, the couple officially became a unit in front of 19 of their closest friends and family while both wearing Zac Posen.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

Congrats! I just love Ellen to pieces and I am so happy that she has found the one.

Wedding bells!!!

Us Weekly is reporting that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are planning to marry this weekend in California. It is believed the comedian will tape the nuptials and air it in May on her talk show. 

"It's something that we've wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited. I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don't all have the same rights."

"Planning a wedding is very stressful. It's crazy. My gardener is now invited."

Forget about Ellen DeGeneres winning "outstanding talk show host" for the fourth year in a row at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, look at how cute she is showing off Portia De Rossi's engagement ring! I just LOVE this couple.

Ellen is one of those celebrities that I would probably go up to and hug... yes creepy I know. But she seems like such a genuine person and I really do wish her continued success and happiness.

Congrats to the happy couple! Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are getting married now that the California supreme court gave same sex couples the right to marry.

The pair has been dating since 2004. Ellen made the announcement on her show and the crowd went WILD and gave them a standing ovation!
