Eva Mendes looked extremely chic in a flower print dress, black sweater coat, and pointy toed heels as she arrived to the set of her new movie, "Last Night" in NYC yesterday. I wish she would smile a bit when the paps grab hold of her. It's all very Jessica Biel. I COMPLETELY understand why she gets annoyed at their presence, but once in a while throw us a bone! :)

“Whether it is a photo session or a hot date, Eva (Mendes) swears by hanging her head down on a slant board for about 20 minutes. Allowing blood flow to your upper body and face will bring on a vibrant, flushed-with-youth look.”

Jessica Simpson and Eva Mendes arrived to Macy's 150th Birthday Gala at Gotham Hall in New York last night looking fantastic. Jessica arrived to the event in a black dress and a grey fur wrap looking a little vintage Hollywood. I'm curious if you guys like the look?
Eva of course looked great in a red satin dress and shiny nude heels.
Which outfit do you like the best?

Eva Mendes was spotted walking from trailor to trailor on the set of her new film 'Last Ball' in New York. I checked IMDB to see what it was about but unfortunately there isn't a page up for this film yet.
On the other hand, Eva looks quite fashionable and ready for fall in her black sweater ensemble, don't you think?

Victoria Beckham just threw me off guard with these shots of her hiding her face. When was the last time she did that? Perhaps she didn't feel fresh enough after her long flight back to LA from London. Thank goodness she was with David! Not because he could help her through the airport - but because I get to see new shots of that scowl.
Also at the airport last night was Eva Mendes. She typically never plays nice with the paps and this time used her over-sized scarf to attempt to go unnoticed.

Eva Mendes looked lovely as she attended the launch of Calvin Klein at Harrods in London yesterday. Eva is currently the new "face" of Calvin's new fragrance, "Secret Obsession" which about sums up how I feel about Eva. :) She's seriously one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.
Since my perfume bottle dropped and cracked down the middle, I am in the market for a new scent. Although I received a bottle of Michael Kors' newest scent 'Very Pretty' and am in LOVE with it. For anyone that used to wear Byblos many moons ago, it smells almost exactly the same. It will be available for purchase in December, so look out for it.
Anyone have any favorite scents they care to share?

Controversial comments aside, Eva Mendes is one fashionable celeb. Okay, so I can't ignore the comments about J.Lo either...hmmm, still can't explain them or the reasons for saying them, but we can all agree that as far as beauty and fashion go, Eva knows how to roll, right? In light of her recent steamy ads for Calvin Klein fragrances (see pics below!), the actress has said:
I'm so comfortable in my skin. I've never felt more beautiful."
Here are some other things she uses to make herself look (and feel) even more so:
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula ($7.49 at Amazon):
I can't live without 100% cocoa butter and plenty of sleep."
Laura Mercier Creme Lip Color in Aurora ($22 at Amazon)
I love Diane von Furstenberg as a woman who has developed her own classic style."

Because Eva Mendes and Jennifer Lopez are both two of the most successful Latinas in Hollywood, people tend to compare them. But Eva has had enough. She's sick of people thinking she and J-Lo are so similar.
"I would like to think I will have a more serious career than J.Lo. We may both be of Latin origin but that’s where the comparisons stop. She manages her career like the head of a big corporation, whereas the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible."
Was that a little bit of a dig? I wonder what Jennifer will have to say in response to this.
