Now this is one I didn't see coming.  Actor George Clooney and celebutante Paris Hilton have supposedly been spotted out together.  Like, on dates.  The couple were reportedly seen having an "intimate meeting" at LA's Whiskey Bar on December 19.

And the next evening, they were spotted having dinner with director Ridley Scott, Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel, and Paris' new BFF, Brittany Flickinger.

'It was an odd group for a dinner party,' notes an onlooker."

I'll say!  

So what do you think: could they be dating?  Could this be about a possible film project (Paris has done a few movies)?  Can you imagine George and Paris together either way?  And if it is true, how in the world did they manage to avoid the paparazzi?

Last week, we discovered that one of our favorite people, talk show host / comedian Ellen DeGeneres, had a problem: she couldn't get movie star George Clooney to come on her talk show.  Fellow movie star Brad Pitt gallantly told Ellen what she needed to do to get George to accept her invitation: send Chippendales dancers over with the invitation! 

Ellen knew good advice when she heard it, so she has wasted no time in doing just that!

If this spectacular effort should somehow fail, I can only think of one main problem: where were the blondes?  One guy looked like he had some blond highlights, but perhaps Ellen needed to specify that she wanted a platinum blonde?

Remember Brad's advice; it was pretty specific:

Get a bunch of Chippendales... He's yours. Three, four ... no less than three ... make one a blonde." 

Well, no one can say Ellen hasn't tried everything to get George on her show!

Given what a practical joker George is rumored to be, I bet this gave him (or at least his office staff) a good laugh.

Last night, George Clooney attended the "Herz fuer Kinder" charity gala which was held at the Axel Springer Verlag in Berlin. The actor was invited to present the 'Golden Heart' to aid workers from Darfur, a cause he is very passionate about.

A local newspaper got a hold of him and published their interview. Read below to see how George feels about Darfur, moving to Berlin, and whether or not he currently has a girlfriend.

BILD: What do you think about celebrities who aren’t engaged in social causes?

It is up to every individual to decide. No one knows what is going on behind the public image. One person is looking for a job, another is building a family or looking after their parents. I personally decided to spend my free time helping regions of the world in crisis.

BILD: How often have you visited such places?

Three times so far. Darfur in Sudan and then we went over the border into Chad. Last year we travelled to Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We wanted to go there again four weeks ago but the UNO stopped our trip at the last minute – the fighting there was too intense.

BILD: How do you feel when you leave the misery behind and fly back to Los Angeles?

The first thought is ‘Thank God I’m leaving’. The last time I felt that way was in Goma.  We visited a hospital, and a woman who had been abused and set on fire was lying there - and someone had cut her lips off…

“When I get on the plane afterwards I thanked God that I don’t have to live there. The guilty feelings come after you have landed, that you have only briefly dipped your toe into the water – that you witnessed all this suffering with the constant knowledge that you can leave whenever you want.

BILD: What was your worst experience in Darfur?

The systematic violence towards women. Or also the fact that a village won’t ‘only’ be destroyed, no – the wells will also be poisoned, so that life there is impossible. It is not about land, it is about race hate.

BILD: What did your mother say when you first went there with your father?

She certainly wasn’t happy. We were supposed to fly there with a media company, but all of a sudden in Chad there was extreme fighting, hundreds of dead… The company pulled out three days before the flight. We found that quite weak. I then thought, perhaps we should leave it. But my Dad said, ‘No way – we are going!’ My mother was not impressed.

Cindy Crawford and George Clooney were both spotted leaving the house of Kid Rock at 3:30 am in London last night looking partied out. I'm not sure what's more surprising, Kid Rock having a home in London or the fact that George and Cindy would be hanging out with him? Any thoughts on Cindy's revealing dress? She's still got it -that's for sure!

George Clooney and his 'stache were spotted leaving club Nobu last night in London before heading off to another bar called, Whiskey Mist. I love me some George Clooney and Brad Pitt but their mustaches HAVE TO GO! Come on ladies be honest... Do you prefer your George hairy or shaved?I KNOW it's for a movie... but still!

Also spotted leaving Nobu was Matt Damon Can you IMAGINE going out with your friends for drinks and running into those guys?! Ahh... dreams...

I love Ellen DeGeneres! And I love Brad Pitt for what he suggested to Ellen! The talk show host / comedian was complaining about how she couldn't get George Clooney booked and Brad offered some great advice.

"We need George Clooney...We tried everything," Ellen told Brad of her attempts to get George on the program. "We've sent 'Victoria's Secret' models over. We've sent Miss America over. We've sent Kate Hudson over. We decorated his bungalow for Halloween. I don't know what more we can do."

Here is Brad's new approach:

"This is your problem ... Get a bunch of Chippendales... He's yours. Three, four ... no less than three ... make one a blonde."

Don't dare Ellen to do anything because you know she wil!!

"We're going to do it and we're going to say it's from you," Ellen declares.

I am now patiently waiting for it to hit YouTube. LOL!

A week after being named People's 2008 Sexiest Man Alive, Hugh Jackman is dealing with the fallout from winning the highly coveted title.  In addition to many congratulatory calls, there's been some hazing.  First up?  Former two-time Sexiest Man Alive George Clooney gave him a call.  At 2 o'clock in the morning.

"I was half asleep and I said to him, 'Ah, George sweetie, good to hear from you.' " 

It sounds like George was not calling to offer a congratulations, however.  According to Hugh, George told him:

"Shut up, Jackman!' " the Aussie actor jokingly recounted. "[He said,]'I know what you did! You started this big campaign that's been going on and [you] took the title away from me.' " 

And it's not just George Clooney who's giving the sexy Aussie flack for his new title.

"My old man traveled over with me and we landed in America ... and all of sudden we were stopped at the airport and saw the Sexiest Man Alive magazine and everyone is talking about it," the actor said. "My father found it really uncomfortable."

"[My dad] said to me, 'I can't really talk to you about being sexy. It's a little weird,' " Jackman recalled."

I guess I can see that isn't the type of conversation many fathers and sons have.  Regardless, I still say People got it right this year!

A lot was made out of George Clooney's supposed refusal to come back and do E.R. one last time.  Many readers were upset that he would snub the show that gave him his big break.  But, it looks like maybe the rumors that he wasn't doing the show were to throw us off the scent and keep his appearance a secret. Noah Wyle spills the beans saying,

"From what I heard, George said, 'Absolutely, schedule permitting'." 

Eriq La Salle and possibly Juliana Margulies will possibly be coming back for the big finale too.  Who's excited for Dr. Doug Ross?!?

When are these two going to accept that they just belong together? George Clooney and Krista Allen are like a healthier version of Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee. This on again off again thing has been going on since the beginning of time... or 2002.

According to reports, George has rekindled his love affair with Krista since splitting with Sarah Larson. This is pretty typical behavior for George. Once he breaks up with a girlfriend, he ends up back with Krista until something happens for them to split which causes him to date until he finds his way back to Krista once again. PHEW! Say that sentence 5 times fast.

An insider tells the New York Daily News,

"Krista has been going to George’s house, cooking dinner for him, hanging out. All of George’s friends and his parents really like her and are urging George to settle down with her. She was always there when he’s been between girlfriends. She’s very loyal."

When I first saw the post on ONTD, I got very excited because I thought we were in for some huge transformations. But I have to say that the only one that knocked my socks off was Nicole Kidman. Who knew a flat iron would have such an effect on a face!! And George Clooney seriously looks like he was wearing a wig - but I LOVED it back then.

Times change, but photos are forever.
