Quite a few celebrities arrived to an event for YES! on Prop 2: Stop Animal Cruelty fund raiser in Bel Air, California yesterday. Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres were there to help support the cause, as well as Emily Deschanel from the TV show, "Bones".  Also there lending their "star" power was the beautiful Heather Graham and Amy Smart. Out of all the guests, I liked Heather's bright and cheery dress best. Your thoughts?

Portia and Ellen look so happy together don't they!! It's really sweet. I know they are newlyweds, and everyone looks like this when first married. But it's still always nice to look at.

The beautiful Heather Graham arrived to the premiere of "The Darjeeling Limited" in New York wearing a full length blue halter dress and gold shoes. What do you guys think about the whole outfit? It definitely fits the Graham formula...

Both Jennifer Garner and Heather Graham walked the red carpet to promote their latest movies. Jennifer was fun and flirty is a long red dress while Heather attempted a much sexier look all in white.  Jen's movie, The Kingdom also stars Jamie Foxx and Jason Bateman. It has just been announced that her next project is called, Be With You and it sounds AMAZING. I love these types of movies.

On her deathbed, a wife and mother tells her family that after she passes, she will return to them. A year later, a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to their loved one surfaces ...

Heather's movie is entitled, Adrift in Manhattan and is about three lonely strangers intersecting while commuting on New York's 1 and 9 subway lines.Splash

Heather Graham sported a lpurple dress on the red carpet last night for the premiere of Adrift in Manhattan. In case you don't know what the movie is about, here's a quick summary from IMDB:

"Adrift in Manhattan is the layered story of three characters who find courage to move to the next stage of life through profound encounters with strangers they meet on their daily routes. Rose, an optometrist paralyzed by crushing grief after the death of her infant, has built a wall around herself, unable to relate to her estranged husband or anyone else. When an elderly patient, a painter losing his eyesight, begins to visit her office unannounced, Rose registers how alone he is, urging him to reach out and ask for help--something neither does easily. Meanwhile Simon, a late-blooming teenager with an overbearing mother, photographs people at a distance with a borrowed long lens. One day, Rose, beautiful and melancholy in a vibrant scarf, comes into focus in his camera sight. The pictures he shoots become a conduit for each of them to touch something deep within and expand their confining existence."

Heather plays Rose. This movie sounds pretty interesting but I have a hard time imagining her in such a serious role. I haven't seen a lot of the movies that she's been in, so to me she will always be the goofy, quirky, Dr. Molly Clock from Scrubs. Back to the dress - what do you think about her choice? She always seems to take a chance with her outfits.
