I think it's great that Jamie Lynn Spears spoke of plans to complete her college degree even after giving birth to her first child at 17. It gives other young girls something to think about who are in the same situation.

Lucky for Jamie, she has family around who are willing to help.

"I want to get my business degree. I could take online courses right now, but with Maddie being so young, it’s hard to sit down and focus, I’m going to wait until she’s a little bit older, and she can stay with my mama while I go to classes. I do want to go to college and get a degree."

Has anyone had success with those work from home programs? I see the advertisements on television but am never sure if they are legit.

Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant with her second child. 

Just three months after giving birth to Maddie Briann, Jamie is rumored to be carrying for a second time. 

“Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.”

Supposedly, the pregnancy came to be because Jamie thought one couldn't get pregnant while breastfeeding. 

“Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.” A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source. 

What do you think about this news? There is a 1% chance that this story is true. But can you imagine!!!

According to Transworld News, Britney Spears is allegedly trying to convince her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears to move in with her. The pop star has been dying to get her little sister under her roof so she can help take care of Maddie. Britney is even offering to build her niece a brand new nursery filled with everything a little baby needs. Oh wait... that's just some diapers, a blanket and a few articles of clothing. You know what I mean.

“Brit has assured Jamie Lynn that she’ll build a nursery for Maddie – even promising that when she buys her new place, it will have a special wing for them.”

Meanwhile, sources claims Jamie Lynn has moved out of her Mississippi home where she lived with Casey Aldridge and moved in with mother Lynne Spears.

Hmmmnnn... what's the safer bet? Staying with mom who is currently busy trying to promote her BOOK about the downfall of her family, or move in with Britney who is trying to show the world that she is back and as healthy as ever?

Casey is officially claiming that the report is false and that Kelli Dawson sold the story to the magazine for money and her five minutes of fame.

Oh no! Casey Aldrige has another woman... and she's talking to In Touch Weekly.

In an exclusive interview with In Touch, 28-year-old Kelli Dawson reveals that she and Casey, 19, were romantically involved — and were still sleeping together when Jamie Lynn, now 17, was six months pregnant with his child. No fleeting hookup, Casey and Kelli’s relationship was both real and lasting — and it grew in intensity, even as Jamie Lynn announced she was pregnant. And, Kelli says, they still meet up on a regular basis. “I see him all the time, at least once a week,” she shares.

Hmmmnnn... this isn't a "what if" rumor. This is basically Kelli saying that she cheated with Casey while he was with Jamie Lynn Spears. And the fact that she adds, "at least once a week" is like a dagger through the heart. Aren't Jamie and Casey supposed to get married?

Ahh, young love. Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge are ready to walk down the aisle. Ok is reporting that she's already started planning the wedding and that the two will say "I do," before the end of the year. Jamie Lynn is planning for the event to be held in her own backyard!

"She loves everything about the area where she lives. She's not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills," a friend of the bride-to-be tells OK!. "Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn's style."

Jamie Lynn Spears brought out Maddie to make her big debut on the cover of Ok! Magazine. She also did an interview, telling them all about how motherhood is treating her so far.

She says that being far away from Hollywood is a good thing for her.

"Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that's a good way to live."

Jamie also talks about her delivery,

"They'd told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed."

And Jamie and Maddie are getting their own little routine going.

"She is very good," says Jamie Lynn. "She'll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I'll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There's no screaming and crying. We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I've worked one out with her, and we're happy going about our little life."

She seems like she's adjusting to life as a mother with no problems at all.  Good for her!

Congrats! Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth today to a healthy baby girl. She and fiance Casey Aldridge named their little bundle of joy Maddie Briann....how cute!

"Just the family was there," says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. "Everyone is healthy and happy."

So I guess the rumors about her naming the baby Emma Jean were wrong. What do you think of the name Maddie?
