I almost feel like I am on vacation with Beyonce and Jay Z, except I'm not relaxing or getting a tan. Ahhh... who am I fooling? These days vacations aren't anything like that at all. Disney World with two kids under 4 is about as UN-relaxing as it can get! :)

Here they are, the lovely couple, strolling hand in hand on their way to a romantic private boat ride around St. Barts. Beyonce and Jay Z have been vacationing since before the New Year.

Beyonce is a workaholic. She is so dedicated to her craft that it is HARD for her to step away from it. Finally, the singer has reached a point in her life where she is ready to take break from all the madness. After all, she's had quite a successful run in the industry.

"Being this huge pop star is not my focus right now. I’ve done that. I wanted to sell a million records, and I sold a million records. I wanted to go platinum, I went platinum. I’ve been working nonstop since I was 15. I don’t even know how to chill out."

Beyonce is currently on vacation in St. Barts with her husband Jay Z. That's a start right? 

The singer also recently admitted that she really isn't that much of a party girl... especially when she feels like everyone is watching. 

"I don’t really go out much. If I wasn’t a celebrity then I don’t know how I would feel, but it’s not that much fun for me - it feels like I’m in a cage and everyone is watching.

But being a celebrity does have its perks! Whitney Houston once invited Destiny's Child to a birthday party she was throwing and Beyonce will never forget it.

Whitney Houston had a birthday party years ago. She sent the girls in Destiny’s Child personal invitations. We didn’t even know she knew us, so we were ecstatic. We put our money together and flew to New York, dressed up and went to the party and we met her. She was such a beautiful person, it was an unforgettable moment."

What a life! Beyonce promised she was taking some time off and now we have the proof of her vacation. Here she is alongside Jay Z on the beautiful island of St. Barts. Has anyone been?

The couple walked around with some friends and even did a little shopping before the paparazzi crowd became too much to handle.

Here's the thing with these lists - they are just estimations and Keira has come out time and time again claiming they always get her figures wrong. So who knows!!

Jay-Z and Beyonce have just topped a list of Hollywood's richest couples.  Obviously they're so high ranking because both of these two business savvy.  From 2007-2008 Jay-Z brought in $82 million from his deal with Live Nation, while Beyonce has raked in $80 million through everything she does in fashion, music, etc.  The rest of the richest couples are:

• 1. Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles - $162 million
• 2. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith - $85 million
• 3. David Beckham and Victoria Beckham - $58 million
• 4. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill - $35 million

Personally I'm surprised not to see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes on there.  He always earns an insane amount for his movies and she's got to be getting paid big bucks for all the campaigns she's in!  And who would have guessed that Harrison and Calista are still racking it in!  Are you surprised to see any of these names on the list?  And who did you think was really rich that didn't actually make the top ten?

 

 

In a rare sighting, Beyonce and Jay Z stepped out in NYC last night after dining at Cipriani restaurant. I know I've mentioned this before, but that literally was the most expensive meal I have ever had. My husband and I walked out like we were pistol whipped by the waiter. It was insane.

But the food is simply amazing, and when you're a celeb - money is not a problem. That's why these two are still semi-smiling. :)

SO LOW KEY! We hardly see Beyonce and Jay-Z anymore. This girl needs to start promoting a movie! Hurry up and finish working on Obsessed. That way we can at least see you on the red carpet. 

The newlyweds are perfectly content traveling the world side by side staying as far out of the limelight as humanly possible. And I think it's great that they are actually able to do it. 

Expect for when it comes to Solange! Beyonce took her husband to City Hall Parkto watch Solange Knowles hit the stage at the J & R MusicFest Concert Series. The odds of her doing as well as Beyonce is slim to none. BUT she does have the talent to hold her own. So, I am excited to see what she can bring.

I am so used to seeing Beyonce happy and smiling that these pictures are a bit surprising. So serious! Here are Beyonce and Jay Z as they leave their hotel in Monte Carlo, Monaco and head to Nice Airport for departure.

Boy! Beyonce didn't put down her bag and shoes the entire night. She held them close to her dress and even added her jacket to the mix at some point. It must have been so tiring to hold ALL that stuff for the entire party so close to her body.
