Jennie Garth joined Trident, “Smiles Across America” and students of PS42, a New York City-based public school, to bring attention to the importance of oral health care this Holiday season.
What a great idea!
Trident, a sugar-free gum brand from Cadbury, announced a three-year, $1.5 million dollar commitment to Oral Health America’s “Smiles Across America” (SAA) program. The organization is devoted to improving oral health among millions of under privileged, uninsured and underinsured children in America by increasing access to care through school-based oral health services and education.
Earlier today, Jennie led proper oral hygiene demonstrations - from brushing to flossing - to 30 students of PS42. I wonder if those students knew that her husband, Peter Facinelli is Twilight's Dr. Cullen!!

Alison Sweeney, Judy Greer and her god daughter, Peter Facinelli, Jennie Garth and their children, Maria Bello and Camryn Manheim all stepped out for Camp Ronald McDonald's 16th Annual Family Halloween Carnival in Universal Studios. Sounds like fun!
While in college I used to help out at a Ronald McDonald house and they truly are a wonderful place for families in need. It was always a pleasure to go lend a hand because you just knew you were part of something good and needed.
PS - in a month, Peter's life is going to get turned upside down with Twilight comes out. It's already started. All the pictures that were of him and his family had his name first in the description - not Jennie. Jennie ALWAYS is first whenever they are trying to sell the shot. But not anymore.

Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) and her son attended the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies luncheon gala in Beverly Hills. The event recognized some of the most prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children and who are role models for March of Dimes commitment to love and hope for healthy babies.
Hosted by Jennie Garth, the event included baby boutiques, silent auctions and a live auction program.
If you would like to get involved with the March of Dimes, why not start by signing their petition below?
The petition is a call to action to all mothers asking them to help the March of Dimes put the issue of preterm birth on the national health agenda. More than a half million babies are born too soon each year, and unfortunately an early birth put babies at a greater risk of death and health problems, such as breathing difficulties and developmental delays that can plague them for life.

Don't you just love hearing about things we can all agree on? So when Cosmo asked some fashionable stars to pick their all-time favorite beauty choice, we were all over it! Check out some of the celebs who have been linked together through their fave beauty pick (see the products below!):
Leighton Meester and Rihanna agree that CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara ($5.99 - $6.79 at Amazon)is "best in show!"

"
Kimora Lee Simmons and Christina Applegate gave Creme de la Mer ($130 to $1390) their kudos. Says the fabulous Ms. Simmons:
It's super luxurious...There's nothing else like it."
Pink and Jennie Garth agree that Smith's Rosebud Salve ($5 at Amazon)rocks the vote. Have you ever tried it?? Handy little multi-tasker, if you ask me! Swipe it over your eyes for a dewy look or rub it on dry elbows for instant moisture!

Carmen Electra and Victoria Beckham both voted for Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant ($17 at Amazon). (Sometimes I wonder how Posh is able to keep up with her kids in those mile-high heels--and very active little boys at that!! Goodness gracious!). Here's what Carmen says about the mutually-celebrated cream:
It's amazing for travel to hydrate lips and skin."

A slew of celebrities attended the 6th Annual Pre-Emmy Party held by Entertainment Weekly at The Beverly Hills Post Office last night. Lauren Conrad once again looked fantastic and chic in a simple black ruffled dress, black pumps, and a long string of pearls. Also pictured on the red carpet was Eric McCormack, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli, Stacy Keibler, Emilie de Ravin (gorgeous!), Kath Griffin and Lisa Edelstein.
So who do you think looks the best? I vote for Emilie or Lauren.

Remember watching the original and seeing Brenda and Dylan kissing passionately? OH that was soooo risque! I was an early teen and I remember thinking - Woo hoo! Check out that action! Nowadays, you can get that level of passion on a TV commercial. Forget about Prime time!
Jennie Garth says the new 90210 spin off is far racier than the original. In fact, she feels it might be too much for pre-teens to even consider watching.
"My kids are by no means ready to watch this 90210."
And co-star Lori Laughlin admits she’s often left red faced by her racy scenes with onscreen husband Rob Estes.
"I blush all day long.
Meanwhile, Estes adds,
"(We’re not) a mom and dad who are home eating bon bons. It’s a couple who’s f**king! "We’ll clear the kitchen so fast (to have sex), you don’t know what to do with yourself."
WOAH! Tis the way of today's programming isn't it? Kind of sad really. Makes kids grow up faster than they should because they are exposed to much more than is necessary at an earlier age. What do you think about where we are heading in the film and television industry? Is there any turning back? Is there even a need to?

Garth's publicist confirmed to Access Hollywood, "It's official," after Zieiring let the cat out of the bag that he convinced Garth to do the show. "We texted each other. She had a lot of trepidation at first," Ziering said. As is policy at ABC, they will not comment on Dancing contestants until the network says it's official. The official word will not happen until about four weeks before the show begins its new season in September.
Al Pacino also expressed interest in the show. In an interview with Time magazine, Pacino said, "I would consider it. All due respect and trying to be as modest as I can be, I am a dancer. But I don't think I would be on Dancing with the Stars mainly because I would be too shy."
