Just ignore them!

Yes folks, it's that simple! Kate Beckinsale has found the solution to deal with the swarming paparazzi. Pretend they aren't there. The actress tells Access Hollywood,

"Maybe it’s a British thing. I sort of adopt a victim mentality in that I can’t do anything about it so it’s pointless throwing things and shouting.

"I just think, they’re going to wait at the bottom of your road and follow you places. Hopefully you’re not doing anything so spectacularly interesting like having your pants fall down, because that kind of thing tends to attract attention. It’s a part of the job that I tend not to think about that much."

Kate's daughter Lily has even begun ignoring the press. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

"It’s weird that my daughter’s got used to it. We tend to have a group of people following us when we do our Christmas shopping or something but we’ve all got quite good at blocking it out and pretending it’s not happening."

I think Britney Spears or Angelina Jolie's experience with the paparazzi is a bit different than Kate's experience - but I get what she's saying.

Kate Beckinsale was photographed shopping at Pottery Barn in the middle of a rain storm in Santa Monica yesterday.  Of course, it is the holidays which means come rain, snow, or sleet we all need to be doing our last minute shopping. Except for my mother who prefers to do everything online.

At least Kate kept it casual in a sweater and Converse sneakers. Who is finished for the year? Who still has their full list left to do?

Kate Beckinsale dressed in black leather leggings, black knee-high boots, and a gorgeous short trench was photographed Christmas shopping on Robertson Blvd yesterday afternoon. Kate doesn't do a lot of color, but she always manages to look FANTASTIC. :) 

What do you think of leather leggings? Something you incorporate into your wardrobe? I once owned leather pants while in college. They were from BCBG and I got them at 80% off. Will never forget it! That weekend, my friends and I were going clubbing, I put them on, and split the back when I stood up from buttoning them.... yeah. Needless to say, I never bought leather pants again. I suppose leggings are different though.

Kate Beckinsale, Len Wiseman and daughter Lily arrived to the 2008 PS Arts, "Express Yourself" event this past weekend looking adorable. Kate and her little family are always enjoying themselves together and seem like a pretty strong unit.  On a more fashionable note, Kate must really like this "look" because this is the second time she's worn it.

Kate Beckinsale was spotted shopping with a friend on Wednesday afternoon in New York City. I am a big fan of Kate's style and she does not disappoint this time around. I think she is looking absolutely fab in her herringbone coat and electric blue Chanel handbag, which is to-die-for!

WHAT AN EVENT!! I mean, one A lister after the other. And they weren't even the only people in attendance. Dozens of actresses attended the Elle's "Women in Hollywood Event" at the Four Seasons Hotel last night. However, I chose the following to highlight. Otherwise I would be here all day working on this one post.

Jennifer Lopez, Leah Remini, Nicole Kidman, Eva Mendes, Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry (alongside Gabriel Aubrey), Jenny McCarthy, and Kate Beckinsale all walked the red carpet.

And if we are looking to pick up a trend, it looks like jeweled encrusted cocktail dresses are in for the fall as both Jenny and Nicole opted for the look. 

Kate Beckinsale and her 9 year old daughter Lily were shopping in Los Angeles yesterday.  I usually adore everything Kate wears.  While the outfit she has on now is pretty tame and nice, the hat is making me do a double take.  I kind of like the whole boho street thing, but it's not what I'm used to on Kate.

You learn something new...

Kate Beckinsale fears her years studying at a British university have been wasted now she has become a Hollywood star. The 35-year-old studied Russian at England’s elite Oxford University so she could read her favorite books in their original language. But Beckinsale is disappointed her studies have not been useful in her rise to stardom. She says,

"Now I only speak Russian with the woman who does my bikini wax. See what Hollywood does to you."

Heidi Montag, Elyse Walker, Giada De Laurentiis, Brooke Burke, David Charvet, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Vanessa Minnillo, Marcia Cross, and Jennifer Garner showed their support for the 4th Annual Pink Party. The event benefited Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute and was held at Hanger 8 in Santa Monica Airport. 

Quite the turn out.

I wonder if Jennifer felt funny being the only celebrity in jeans? At this point in her career (and pregnancy), I'm sure she didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

And Heidi... do celebrities befriend the reality TV star or at least make small talk? Or do they consider her to be a joke? Spencer Pratt was at the fundraiser as well, so at least she had someone to chat up.

Finally, let's talk Kate B's dress. She was the host for the evening. But was that dress the right choice?
