Lisa Rinna, who will soon host TV Guide's red carpet Golden Globe coverage, spoke to momlogic about keeping her husband Harry Hamlin happy, overdoing plastic surgery, her Playboy spread and much more. See below for some quotes from the interview. 

What's the secret to keeping your marriage hot?

You gotta be willing and you gotta be game. You've got to be able to continue [your sex life] when you are married with kids. You may say, "I'm tired and I've been with the kids all day," but you've got to get creative. You have to figure out how to keep your man happy. We try to go away every couple of months -- get a hotel. Sex is the first thing that goes. I try to make him happy. I don't always want to and other times I really want to. It's fun if you allow yourself to let go.

What's one of the biggest myths about you?

That I'm a diva and I'm a bitch. People ask people who work with me if I'm difficult. I think it's the characters I play. I get that a lot and I'm not. I'm not high-maintenance and I'm not a bitch. I'm a strong woman, but I wouldn't consider myself either of those.

Have your daughters seen your first Playboy pictorial?

No, but we've talked about it.

How much time and money would you say you spend on staying fit?

I don't spend a lot. I go to free dance classes because I started them with dancer Louis Van Amstel. I do the treadmill, the gym's free, but my trainer costs $130/week. [Check out Lisa's dance videos here.]

Is there any plastic surgery you regret?

My cheeks. I had Juvederm put in my cheeks. That's what I overdid -- big time. I tried it because my girlfriends did it. I thought: I'll do it! I saw a photo and I was like, "Oh Jesus. That's no good. That's NOT good." What I learned is that I don't really need it. You get older and insecure and you think you need it and you don't. I learned less is more. Keep your skin good. But, I still like Botox. It's great! It doesn't change the shape of my face. When you change your face, you don't look like yourself. Looking fresher is one thing. I look like a freak! I always said I wouldn't change my face, but I did it. I can't not be honest about it. I'd look like a fool. It's so obvious. I don't believe in lying. I used to feel like it was nobody's business. But when this happened, I realized I couldn't hide it.

Who is the best-looking person on the red carpet?

Brad and Angie for sure. They just take your breath away for a second. Jennifer Lopez - gorgeous, stunning -- that skin! Nicole Kidman. John Hamm.

I actually had an interview set up with Lisa Rinna to talk about red carpet fashion and her new reality show, but it got canceled. BOO!

The movie itself doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I am sure it will leave a mark in the independent film realm. How can you go wrong with Mickey Rourke as a raging wrestler on a mission?

A drama centered on retired professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson as he makes his way through the independent circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival

Something you would want to see? And what about Evan's make up? Too much or just right for her style?

WHY? Why Lisa Rinna? Why? Don't you know what happens to couples who sign up for their own reality show. It's literally inevitable! Get out while you can - it isn't worth it!!!

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have officially landed their own reality show which will debut in 2009. No confirmation on which network has the rights, but there is a small buzz it might be TV Land.

A) Are you interested in watching Lisa and Harry?
B) Do you believe that couples who do reality shows are doomed?
C) Have you watched TV Land in the past year? I don't even know what channel it is on.

 

It's like an INTERVENTION! Does this mean no more fish lips? Or overdoes on botox? Can it be Lisa Rinna has been saved?

Lisa has finally seen the light... she's gone too far with those needles. The actress gets that she needs to S-L-O-W down with all the doctor visits.

"I saw a picture of myself and thought, 'Uh-oh. You have to be careful'. I'm a perfect example of that! At my age, you have to look good if you want to continue working. Sometimes we do things to help, and I did. I had tried Botox, and then fillers came into the plastic surgery world, and you think, ‘That's not a bad idea.’ "(At first) I thought I looked great. It was a little bit more than normal, but you think it'll go down, so I wasn't scared. But two days ago, I saw a photo of myself at a party and went, ‘Oh, jeez. I have too much filler.’"

Lisa Rinna was photographed enjoying an afternoon of shopping at Chanel and later lunching at the Ivy in Los Angeles yesterday. I love the above photograph because she looks like she's walking down the runway.

For the past few days, the paparazzi have been on this girl like glue! I'm talking about 4 or 5 sets of photos a day to purchase. Why the sudden interest?! I always wonder about the back end of this industry. Have her people started to tip off the paps? Or is she always just at the right place at the right time?

Lisa Rinna looked gorgeous in orange as she arrived to, The Colleague's Champions of Children Award Spring Luncheon in Beverly Hills. Lisa is extremely fit and healthy which is why she can pull off this more voluminous look and still come across looking svelte.
