This is not a good way to close out 2008!   Former NBA star Charles Barkley and Crash star Matt Dillon have been arrested for traffic violations.  Charles was arrested in Arizona while Matt was arrested in Vermont.

Charles was arrested after police observed him running a stop sign at 1:30 am on Wednesday morning.

'He was very nice and professional,' [police Lt.] Shuhandler said." 

Charles declined to take a breath test, so police administered a blood test, issued him a citation for driving while impaired, and released him, pending the results of his blood test.

Matt was arrested by Vermont State Police for driving 106 mph on the interstate.  He's due in court next month to respond to the charge of excessive speed.  One hundred and six mph is pretty fast, alright.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

A screening was shown for Factotum yesterday and all the stars of the movie came out to smile for the paparazzi. I actually saw this movie earlier this week and I enjoyed it.
