Queen Latifah is currently vacationing in Tobago (which is in the Caribbean).  She was enjoying the comforts of a luxury villa in the $1,000-a-night Stone Haven Resort, but her vacation has been dampened with the theft of $10,000 worth of "sentimental" jewelry.

'Several searches are being carried out and the police are trying to have the jewelry returned to Queen Latifah. Investigators said the larceny seems to be an inside job and efforts are being made round the clock to make a breakthrough,' acting police commissioner James Philbert told the [media]."

I can see luxury resorts being targeted by thieves, but you rarely hear about workers actually committing the crimes (although it makes sense, sadly).

Queen Latifah reportedly may offer a reward for the return of her jewelry before she leaves the resort next Wednesday.  I have a feeling she'll have to offer a reward after that report.

Hotels always offer safes but I NEVER use them. Stories like these make me think twice about that decision. Have any of you been the victim of theft while on vacation?

Following in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Sarah Jessica Parker and Britney Spears (to name a few) Queen Latifah has announced she is launching her own perfume line.

"For me, beauty really does start on the inside. It’s like a state of mind - a state of love, if you will. So, I see fragrance as just a natural expression of this state of love: Scent expresses a woman’s confidence and sensuality. It’s how she embraces her body, her mind and her strength."

The scent is due to launch later next year. Here is the Queen enjoying some beach fun with her friend over the weekend. So jealous!

It just wouldn't be a typical day on INO without a Beckham post. You'd think I was British! Only in Hollywood would David and Victoria be shopping and run into the beautiful Queen Latifah. I love how all celebrities "know" one another. Or at least they feel they can approach each other without it being strange.

This is just about the most random thing I have ever read! Queen Latifah is opening up a Fatburger diner in Miami! Forget about working on her next movie role. This girl wants to bring good fast food to locals on Miami Beach. She said that Fatburger reminds her of good times spent in California and wanted to share the love.

"That was part of my L.A. education - on Sundays in California... everybody would come out... in all these low-riders (cars)... FatBurger was, like, the centrepiece for it all."

I don't know what I would want to open up if I had the choice. ACTUALLY, I would love to get one of those In-N-Out Burger chains somewhere in NYC. I just love that place.
