Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz has announced that she and her husband, Half Life guitarist Noah Lebenzon, are expecting their first child. The baby is due at the end of July.
'They are thrilled and ecstatic,' says a friend of the New York City-based couple. 'They can't wait to be parents.' "
Ana had told People in September that part of the reason she was "feeling the itch to have children" was because all of her co-workers were having babies! Costar Rebecca Romijn had twin girls earlier this week, and costar Eric Mabius and his wife had a son in December.
Congratulations to Ana and Noah! Did any of you find that seeing other people around you having kids urged you along?

In case you haven't heard, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell had twins at the end of December and named their little pumpkins, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. When news first broke yesterday, a lot of you didn't care for the name choices.
However, today UsWeekly is explaining that one of the babies, Charlie, is named after Jerry's brother Charlie O'Connell (who did the Bachelor one season. The photo above is of him, and Sarah Brice, the girl who won). And Rebecca was the one who came up with the name Dolly, after her love of Dolly Parton.
Now that the names have been explained, does that change your opinion on them at all?

Congrats Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell! The couple welcomed healthy twin girls to the world this past weekend. While Howard Stern was the one who confirmed the news, there's no word on names or the exact date of birth of these little ones.
How exciting for them! I can't wait to see pictures. With parents like Rebecca and Jerry, these babies are sure to turn out BEAUTIFUL! They have good genes on their side. :)
*Update: The girls were born on December 28th. Their names are Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. What do you think?

What a beautiful pregnant woman Rebecca Romijn is turning out to be? Wasn't too hard considering she's been a looker her entire life! In this week’s Page Six Magazine – Rebecca, with twin daughters on the way, opens up about fertility drugs, maternity sex appeal and her split from ex-husband John Stamos.
On using medical intervention to get pregnant:
“We did not do IVF… A year ago, we tried [the fertility drug] Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully. But by the second month, I was like, ‘Ahhh! I hate this!’ I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it’s crazy-making.”
On her body during pregnancy:
“I can’t move anymore…I’m a beached whale! ...I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!”
On speculation that the cause of her 2004 divorce was that she did not want children:
“There is absolutely no truth to that. That [story] was completely made up. I desperately wanted kids. I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery.”
On husband Jerry O’Connell’s fathering skills:
I knew early on he would be a fantastic dad. He’s a pragmatic, smart, savvy, enthusiastic person. He really lives his life with tremendous integrity, and he’s a healthy person in every single way.”
On parenting:
“I’ve just surrendered to the fact that [parenting] will be the hardest thing I’ll ever do. I know my life will never be the same - but in the best way possible.”For more on Rebecca Romijn, check out this week’s issue of Page Six Magazine, free inside the Sunday edition of the New York Post and online on Monday at www.pagesixmag.com.

Isn't this one of the best parts about being pregnant? The shopping you do for your baby to be. Setting up the nursery exactly how you want and having an excuse to go back a dozen times to the same store to accessorize - it just doesn't get better than that.
Rebecca Romijn spent the day looking at baby furniture in Joey Baby in Woodland Hills. Wonder if she found anything she liked. :)

Jerry O'Connell was being interviewed by Howard Stern when he was put in an uncomfortable position. Howard asked why Jerry and Rebecca Romijn RSVP'd no to his wedding.
Jerry answered,
“You’ve put me in a very awkward spot and I don’t want to go into it,” he said, then claimed it was because his wife, Rebecca Romijn, can’t travel while pregnant.
However, sources are claiming that Rebecca doesn't want to see her ex, John Stamos, who will be at the wedding, and doesn't want Jerry to see him either.
“She really doesn’t want them to be around each other.”
Rebecca's rep, of course, denies everything.
“There is no bad blood between anyone.”
I guess for some people it will always be too painful to see an ex, no matter how much time has passed.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell were photographed arriving to a party in Hollywood Saturday afternoon and later Jerry dropped off Rebecca at a baby shower. Rebecca managed to change outfits in the car on her way to the shower. I think we've all had those occasions where having to change in the car or some stinky bathroom is the only option. If you have tinted windows... then I say go for it. :)

Finally! I feel liike this is the first set of pictures that have come out showing what Rebecca Romijn looks like pregnant with twins. And she looks fantastic! Love her style. Love that she is smiling and having fun with the press. And love that she is doing a little shopping.
Being pregnant literally gives you a valid excuse to shop. You outgrow your entire wardrobe every few weeks (well, at least I did) and there are only so many times you can wear your husband's tees before you get that urge to buy a pretty blouse.
