We RARELY hear news about Renee Zellweger's personal life and when we do, it's typically incorrect. There was a little rumor going around that Rene was dating Uma Thurman's ex Andre Balazs.  Zellweger fueled speculation she was romantically involved with Balazs after the pair was spotted enjoying a recent dinner together in Manhattan, New York. But alas, it was over before it ever started. Renee's rep has officially denied a relationship exists. 

"Renee is single and not dating anyone."

Thurman and Balazs split in 2006 after two years together. Earlier this year (08), the actress became engaged to Swiss businessman Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson.

On a side note, anyone notice that Renee always poses with her legs spread apart which goes against the typical Hollywood pose of crossing legs together. One gives the illusion of being bigger while the other makes people think you are of smaller frame.

Renee Zellweger arrived to the Lifetime Movie premiere of "Living Proof" wearing a gorgeous Grey Carolina Herrera cocktail dress last night in NYC. Renee is one of those women that knows what works for her and sticks to it. Personally I think she looked gorgeous in this dress with her hair and make-up being equally flawless. Your thoughts?

Also spotted walking the red carpet was, Amanda Bynes who was looking quite sexy in a short black dress and white pumps.

Renee Zellweger had a bit of a fright when it came to her monthly self exams.  She discovered something that didn't quite feel right and had to go to the doctor to get the bumps checked out.  Fortunately for her she was pretty calm about her breast cancer scare.

The actress reveals she found two small masses in her right breast during a self examination in 1996 and decided to get them checked out.

Zellweger, who lost her grandmother to cancer in 1969, recalls, "I thought, 'Oh, I know what you do now. You find out what that is. So I went and found out."

She was matter of fact about the whole thing.

"I was like, 'Let's just have it over with. Get in there, stab away, get your little crunchy bit or whatever you're looking for, put it in the mail and we'll call it a day.' "Then I had a weird couple of days waiting for the phone call."

Fortunately for Renee it turned out to be nothing.

Zellweger eventually discovered she had fibroadenomas (benign breast tumours), which she calls, "a fancy word for nothing."

But, now she's even more serious about what a cancer threat could mean to her health.

"I pay attention, I do go get my check-ups."

Renee sounds like the kind of person you'd want around in a crisis, very collected and put together.

Renee Zellwegger, Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen walked the red carpet for the premiere of Appaloosa. Does this title remind anyone else of Kevin Federline's bust of a rap song? I can't stop making the comparison in my head!

This is actually the first I've heard of this movie and looked the summary up on IMDB to see if I would find it of interest.

Two friends hired to police a small town that is suffering under the rule of a rancher find their job complicated by the arrival of a young widow.

Renee Zellweger was photographed arriving at Bryant Park during New York City's Fashion Week and she looked gorgeous in a vintage inspired frock and black pointy toed heels.  I'm really loving this look on her. She always manages to stick to really classic and chic pieces, which is why her favorite designer is Carolina Herrera. A match maid in fashion heaven...  Besides Audrey Hepburn and Givenchy of course.

Well, isn't this exciting casting news. Renee Zellweger and Chris Noth have both signed on for the same movie. Renee specifically requested Chris to be her love interest as she felt he was the perfect fit. Here is the breakdown -

Renee plays a woman looking for a wealthy man to support her family.

Chris plays that wealthy man.

A 1950s-set comedy in which the glamorous Anne Deveraux (Zellweger) embarks on a drive down the Eastern Seaboard in a quixotic search for a wealthy man to fund a new life for her and her sons

I really enjoy Chris as an actor and am so excited to see him landing more lead roles on the big screen. Hopefully, the SATC movie has kicked up his career a notch. (Yes, I sounded like Emeril right there)

My One and Only is due out in 2009.

Renee Zellweger was strolling through Central Park wearing her iPod and enjoying the gorgeous day. Walking outside is SO much more enjoyable to me then walking inside a gym. There is something invigorating and yet peaceful about sunshine, people, and air. Which do you prefer?
