Christmas with a significant other's family...that's a big one, isn't it?  Rihanna and Chris Brown spent the holidays at Chris' hometown of Goochland, Virginia. This was the first time in a while that Rihanna didn't fly back to Barbados at this time of year, making this a "big deal," according to the rags.

Another source is reporting that Rihanna and Chris are getting married.

Pals said Chris, 19, popped the question over the New Year.

Rihanna, 20, showed off the bling after performing with her fella at the O2 in London.

 

But, every time news comes out about these two getting serious, I just have to keep reminding myself how young they are! They've got plenty of time to take it slow...

What an unbelievable experience this is going to be for the singer! People magazine is reporting that Rihanna will perform at America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball and the charity couldn't be happier about it. The event supports Feeding America, "the nation's largest hunger-relief organization". Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, told the magazine:

"We could not be happier that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration charity ball to benefit Feeding America. Rihanna's involvement will help raise awareness about the prevalence of hunger in America and help bring more aid to the 36 million Americans who do not always know where they will find their next meal."

Must feel really great to be part of something so grand. Every bit counts.

Rihanna looked fierce in black leather pants as she shopped in Paris last night with boyfriend Chris Brown. There's nothing quite like Christmas shopping in Paris at night... Rihanna truly lives a charmed life.

Rihanna, Chris Brown, Jesse McCartney, Lady Gaga, Brandy, Brody Jenner, Ashley Tisdale, Kanye West, Ne-Yo and Katy Perry were just a few of the headliners for Z100's Jingle Ball held last night at Madison Square Garden. What an evening!! Did anyone go? I went to one a few years ago and had a great time. It's an easy way to see a ton of people in concert without having to spend thousands of dollars for tickets.

 

 

$1 mi-ll-ion dollars...

Sorry, whenever I type out one million dollars, all I hear is Dr. Evil in my head. :)

Chris Brown and Rihanna are being sued for the crazy sum of $1 million dollars by a photographer named Luis Santana. Luis was outside a nightclub and snapped a photo through Chris and Rihanna's limousine window. He claims this would have been the first photo to prove that the two were a couple. However, their bodyguard supposedly assaulted him and stole his $3,000 dollar camera. Since the photo "would have sold for a fortune," he's demanding compensation for that as well as the camera and his personal injuries and distress.

Rihanna's publicists responded saying the lawsuit is a "really unfortunate event." He adds,

"I do believe that this matter is completely blown out of proportion and I strongly believe that we need to focus on the positive things in the world  not the negative things. Sadly, we are living in a full-blown recession during this holiday season of giving - so let us try to give attention to the positive things in the world and focus on God and our families."

Obviously if the camera was stolen that's cause for compensation. But should this photographer really be reimbursed for what the photo MIGHT have sold for?

Rihanna arrived to the "2008 American Music Awards" yesterday in Los Angeles wearing a cream colored strapless cocktail dress and opened toed pumps. The singer is always taking fashion risks and last night was no different than any other.

Though her make-up was flawless and the color rather suited her complexion, the puffy cut is throwing me off. It's definitely a dress that makes you do a double take... and if that was her intention, she most certainly pulled it off.
