Finally!!!  Good things are worth waiting for!  I've been waiting for these pictures to become available for INO for days, but hey, wasn't the wait worth it?

Here's Twilight star Robert Pattinson with those famous locks shorn short.  The long hair was a great look for the character Edward, but what do you all think of the short look for Robert?

He's a good looking guy either way, so I can't make up my mind!  (I could probably do without the extra-stubbly look, though.)

Obviously there's been a lot of varying opinions on the Twilight movie.  Some people are obsessed while other just feel lukewarm about the film. But, since it did so well, the sequel has been confirmed and the director, Catherine Hardwicke, says it could be ready by as soon as the end of 2009.  I'm curious as to how they are going to keep the main vampire characters from aging if it takes them over a year to film and release a movie per book.

Catherine says,

"I want to do ['New Moon'] better than we did 'Twilight,' and do it really cool. I definitely don't want to do it as something just tossed off, like a 'Saw II' or something like that. We want to be sure that it's really going to be great and that everyone's on the same page. "I would say that the film could be finished by the end of 2009, if not the beginning of 2010; cameras could be rolling in about five months."

As for new actors coming on to play some of the characters that are introduced in the next book, Catherine tells MTV that Stephenie Meyers is again planning on choosing under the radar actors for the roles.

"Stephenie [Meyer] actually has a few people in her head right now that she's mentioned could be cool. But before I say who, we have to see their schedule and if they're interested in doing it. ... [One is] a very cool, unknown person."

All I have heard about the Twilight movie is the insane chemistry between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.  I WISH they would get together in real life.  Unfortunately, she has a long term boyfriend.  But, Life & Style Magazine seems to think there's still hope for a real life romance.

"Kristen and Rob bonded from the moment they met," an insider tells Life & Style. "They got along so well that people were convinced they were secretly in love."

Rob has been hooked on Kristen from the start,

"She and Rob had a lot in common, and it didn't take long for them to develop a very close relationship," reveals the insider. "They were very touchy-feely around each other and they seemed to share a lot of inside jokes." In fact, Robert was overheard proposing to Kristen on set on several occasions -- apparently he was trying to stay in character -- and he constantly recommended books to her, even buying her a copy of Doomed Love by Virgil. "I felt like an idiot just following her around," Robert recently admitted. 

I feel like they might be right and that Rob is secretly in love with Kristen, but a whole lot of good it does him if she doesn't share those same feelings.  Twilight fan, spill...would you love to see these two together in real life?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had the experience of a lifetime during the Los Angeles Premiere of their new film 'Twilight' held at Mann Village Theater Westwood.

An INO reader attended the premiere and said the following about the celebrities:

"So I just got back from the Twilight premiere and there was sooooo many people there! Catherine and Rachel were reallly nice but freaking robert just skipped out on a lot of people and ran into the theater! There was just so many people there!"

I think this is just too much for Robert. Yesterday we get a video of the actor telling the audience to Shut Up, and today get word from an audience member that other cast members took their time with the fans while Robert did not. Although I have to say, there are plenty of pictures of Robert signing autographs and chatting up the crowd. I think after a while, he just had to go in. 

In other news, how do we feel about his hair when it isn't wild? I'm sort of missing the old look.

Admit it, he's growing on you. :P  I know at first I was not convinced at ALL by Robert Pattinson to star in the Twilight series but the more shots that come out of him, the more interviews I see, the more he's won me over.  And Hollywood is recognizing that as well.  He just came in number 7 on the 25 Hottest Hunks list, beating out Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio!

Playing Edward is a lot to live up to for anybody....the entire Twilight series is based on how ridiculously attractive he is!  It's only natural that Robert Pattinson had some doubts as to whether he was actually cut out for the job.

"I was embarrassed going into the casting because in the character breakdown, the first line is, 'Edward is the ideal perfect man.’"

Kristen Stewart was the deal breaker.

“I literally put it off for five months and then I went in mainly because I had seen Into the Wild and I wanted to meet Kristen [Stewart] because I thought she was cool. But I felt like an idiot being like, 'Hi, I’m here for the ideal man audition.' "

And then when Robert finally landed the role, he still had some work to do on his body.

“I was just trying to lose like every ounce of body fat so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien,” Robert says. “I thought that kind of worked for the story. The idea of taking my shirt off and looking like some sort of Adonis? Everyone would just laugh.”

Robert also mentioned a crazy experience he had with a little 7 year old fan.  She wanted a picture and something extra.

“But then she went really quiet and she was like, 'Can you bite me?' ” he reveals.“It wasn’t a joke... I looked at her and thought, 'Do you know what you’re saying?' "

Robert gives a good interview.  He really comes across as very geniune and unaffected.  Let's just wait and see where fame takes him though.  With this first movie, the madness is just beginning!

Yes, as you guys know I am OBSESSED with Twilight.  So expect to see a whole lot more of these guys over the next couple of weeks with the movie premiere coming up. :)

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Catherine Hardwicke were all on the red carpet for the movie's Italy premiere.  Every time I post pictures of the cast we always talk about Robert and how attractive he is but this time I want to discuss Kristen.  I wonder if she's about to become the next big fashionista of the celeb world.  Don't you think she just has that moody it girl look to her?
