Warning! This is gross.

BUT completely understandable considering after a such an extended run, a participant can expect to lose thousands and thousands of calories! Ryan Reynolds was S-T-A-R-V-I-N-G after her completed the NYC Marathon and chowed down with friends once it was all over. 

"You’re just craving anything. I think I sat down to a 10,000-calorie dinner. Onlookers were just in slack-jawed horror, watching me put back two chocolate sundaes, three tuna wrap type things… I had some spaghetti and meatballs.

I flossed later, and a small child fell out. It was pretty gross."

Ryan Reynolds and wife, Scarlett Johansson arrived to the "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson's" 2008 Benefit in NYC last night. Also in attendance was the amazing Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan. I can't express enough how much I admire Michael J. Fox and all that he has done to raise money and awareness to the disease and I know that Ryan feels the same way. He's been quoted saying that Michael was one of his inspirations for recently running the marathon. 

Julianne Moore was also there to help further the cause looking lovely in a black dress with a black belt and black suede boots. Your thoughts on her look?

This actually doesn't surprise me considering the fabulous shape Ryan Reynolds is in.

The actor completed the NY Marathon Sunday afternoon with some friends and then headed to a local diner to celebrate. It must feel so invigorating to know you took part in such a feat. I know one person that participated but haven't heard how she did yet.

This is really touching.  Ryan Reynolds who has never been much of a runner, took to the blogs to explain that he's going to do the New York Marathon out of love for his father and respect for Michael J. Fox. He's hoping to raise money to support Parkinson's Disease research in the process.

He talks about the first time he saw people complete a marathon:

I saw guys coming in to finish with bleeding nipples. Why in the hell were their nipples bleeding? People were crying. People were limping, hobbling, screaming, crawling. But most importantly, people were experiencing a sublime rapture that I couldn't even hope to understand. They were touching something magical no stalk-still mortal simply watching the race could comprehend. These people had accomplished something real. At that moment, with all the energy, inspiration and passion swirling through the crisp autumnal air, I breathed in deeply and decided something: I'd never f***ing do that ever, ever. What in the f*** were these idiots thinking? Bleeding nipples. Bleeding. Nipples.

But, now Ryan finds himself training to do the same thing because of his father's struggle with the disease.

Two years later, by some tragic backwards prophecy, I find myself signed up to run in the New York City Marathon. Every other day I train. I run like a bastard all morning. Not since the discovery of Junior High School has a torture been so effective. Why on earth would I willfully do this? On behalf of my Father, Jim Reynolds, who's spent the last 15 years in a life or death struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds quietly married in Canada among a very small group of family and friends. In August, Scarlett gave the press a quote about wanting to take her time with the engagement. I guess that lie was to throw the world off on their bigger plan. 

"We're just enjoying our time. We're just recently - very recently - engaged. So, you know, we're just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it's a good time, and we're just... enjoying our time to be young and engaged. I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed."

This video is so creepy! The paparazzi are a distance away and all you can hear is the clicking of cameras. Then someone else is filming this tape while Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are just trying to spend a quiet day with one another. I wonder if they knew they were being taped???

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have decided to postpone their wedding until after the Presidential election is over. Turns out that Scarlett's brother Hunter is busy at work on Barack Obama's campaign. She doesn't want to take him away from his responsibilities.

"He is working all the time so Scarlett wants to hold off until the election is over."

The election is due to take place in November.

Hottie Ryan Reynolds was photographed outside Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills yesterday looking so good it hurts me. Suddenly my boring Thursday just got a whole lot better. Scarlett is one lucky lady, not only is she herself gorgeous, but she gets to go home to that. ~sigh~

Ryan Reynolds is a hottie who has girls around the world **** after him and he's engaged to the beautiful Scarlett Johansson...you'd think that would be enough to keep him feeling secure, but apparently he still has some jealousy issues.

“Her fiance Ryan Reynolds is so jealous, he almost drove Scarlett away. Now that she is marrying him, she told him in no uncertain terms to quite being jealous - after all, he’s the one who is shattering many men’s dreams of getting sexy Scarlett down the aisle. But it drives him crazy when other guys flirt with her.”

The couple had problems when Scarlett was filming with Orlando Bloom and Ethan Hawke. Ryan was "terrified" that she would fall for one of them. I guess those two would be tough competition. :)
