TMZ posted the following message on their website today:

TMZ has it down solid -- Lindsay and Sam Ronson are officially history.

Short and sweet - but OK! I guess things didn't work out. Or perhaps it's something they can get over with time. Either way, as of this moment, the girls have called it quits. 

Guess that whole Dubai story was false then huh?

UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan took to her blog to clear up the rumor.

I realize that news is always slow around this time of the year. I thought January 2nd would bring about a new wave of stories, but we all have to wait until Monday for the gossip world to return to normal.

WHILE WE WAIT, we have stories like this to hold us over. Are Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson moving to Dubai? According to the Daily Mirror, these two ladies are already packing their bags!!

While vacationing on Dubai, the pair supposedly fell in love with the Palm Island resort. Add that to the fact that they are both desperate to get away from the paparazzi and here we all are. Rumor has it that Lindsay just bought a $2.18 million pad in the Middle-Eastern state and the couple is planning on moving there full time.

"Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that. Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine.

"And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment.

"There isn’t as much paparazzi either - although that’s sure to change once Lindsay and Sam become regulars on the scene."

What do you think? Could there be an ounce of fact to this? Let's not assume they are moving there full term. But can you see Lindsay purchasing a vacation spot there?

Quite a few celebrities were photographed leaving Barney's of New York yesterday afternoon. Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson, who has bee released from the hospital, but still looks quite tired were spotted leaving.

Lindsay and Samantha weren't the only ones doing some last minute shopping at Barney's. "High School Musical" stars, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were also finishing up their holiday wish lists. Last, but not least we have Kelly Osbourne and Juliette Lewis.

I went to Target yesterday which is probably a mile from my house. It took me over an hour to get there due to holiday traffic congestion. When I got back, I told Bill we aren't allowed to drive into the shopping area of our town anymore until the holidays are over. It is CRAZY over here. Mind you, I live very close to 2 malls, and there are a million stores in between them on all major roads. TOTAL NIGHTMARE. I can't wait for some normalcy.

Life and Style Magazine is reporting that Samantha Ronson has been admitted to the hospital in California - reportedly suffering from exhaustion and depression. Rumor has it that Samantha called her doctor from her LA home on Sunday which led to her admittance to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

"She’s been suffering from depression and from lack of food and sleep. Lindsay Lohan has been helping her through this as she has been through it herself two years ago."

TMZ looked into the matter and found out that Samantha HAS BEEN admitted - but it's not life threatening. Thank goodness!

The visit is "not an emergency and definitely non life-threatening".

Rest up and get better Sam!

Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson were photographed on their way to LAX last night in Los Angeles. These two are constantly flying somewhere and I can't imagine the jet lag they have from heading from Dubai to New York to Los Angeles.

As for Lindsay outfit? I'm loving her gorgeous orange Hermes bag! One of those dreams that will never be for me. 

Lindsay's true love for leggings actually pays off while flying right?. They are the most comfortable things to wear and you don't need to worry about belts and pocket change while getting through security.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are in couples counseling? That's what Page Six is claiming this morning. Turns out the pair have been fighting a lot lately as Sam is trying to get Lindsay to see the lime light just isn't worth it. Tears, screaming, fighting and a weekly session to make it all go away.

They fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other. "Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it. She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning, ‘Is this worth it?’"

"Lindsay is high-maintenance and a lot to deal with. And Sam has always dealt with her. But it isn’t easy. "The things they argue about have to do with their age difference. But no matter what happens, at the end of the day, they are always fine."

A representative for Lohan said she was unaware of any therapy sessions.

What do you think? Fact or fiction? And why didn't her rep just flat out deny it? That's the only reason this story made it online. It surprised me that she said she was "unaware" instead of saying "not true".

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were photographed leaving Nobu in London last night through the back door. Amidst all the media hype about Lindsay's rehab, choice of friend/lover, and PETA's attack I have to say I feel very sorry for her.

It's one thing to be a celebrity and have attention focused on you and quite another to be constantly attacked.

I think it's pretty obvious now why Lindsay stays with Samantha... She seems to be the only one that sticks by her no matter what. Everyone needs a friend like that.

Samantha Ronson has used her MySpace blog to respond to the PETA incident from last week where a member threw flour all over Lindsay Lohan. As usual, I am in complete agreement with the DJ and LOVE the way she ended her vent.

I posted a blog last week that angered some people who didn't know how to read properly, I then wasted my own time defending myself and now I regret that.

There is a fine line that distinguishes the difference between exercising our freedom of expression and offending others, for example the debate regarding freedom of speech vs. hate speech.... i feel that this principle should apply to protestors also. It's a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words.

Whenever I feel the need to vent about something that feels unfair to me I reach for my computer, I don't run out of the house with abusive intentions. I don't expect everyone to react the same way, but I do expect people to respect each other. Maybe that's my first mistake? It seems lately I am learning that there are too many people who put another species before their fellow man and that's sad. I don't wear fur, but I don't think I have the right to ATTACK those who do. No one has that right.

PETA should focus their efforts on educating people on what they believe are injustices instead of seeking press via harassing those in the limelight. I received an apology too many days late from the PETA folks (the blog removal was too little too late) and today I'm **** at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person. I would have more respect for them if they didn't use other people to get their point across. Lindsay, Mary Kate, Ashley Olsen, Anna Wintour and the rest of the targeted celebrities aren't the problem, I'm pretty sure they're not the only ones wearing fur, in fact, they should be appreciated by PETA for giving them a target. If it weren't for them, who would get them press?????

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spotted leaving their hotel in London, making their way over to Dolce. I think Lindsay looks absolutely gorgeous here, her hair and makeup is very beautiful. I really love her outfit too. It would make a great Holiday outfit, but I would prefer if the dress was a little bit longer.
