Selma Blair was spotted strolling in her Los Angeles neighborhood Tuesday afternoon with her one-eyed dog, Wink. Selma adopted Wink from the Lange Foundation,  a foundation dedicated to saving companion animals. It's so sweet, it makes me like Selma even more!

Selma Blair was looking quite colorful and sexy on the set of her new tv show, "Kath & Kim" yesterday in Los Angeles. I imagine that being an actress and getting to dress up like that has to be loads of fun. I mean, where else can you get away with super tiny yellow hot shorts and a unicorn halter top?

Sad news for the series, I hear it's not getting renewed in Australia after just two episodes aired. I don't know why they picked it up to begin with. Instead, the show is being replaced with the original series.

The adorable Selma Blair and new boyfriend enjoyed the afternoon at the Los Angeles Zoo yesterday looking very sweet and lovey-dovey. :) Is anyone planning on catching the premiere of, "Kath & Kim" this Thursday at 8:30? I'll probably TiVo it for the first couple episodes and see how it turns out.

The outfits they've had her wearing have been hilarious, so I'm interested...

Bring it on!

Moviemaker Guillermo Del Toro, best known for the Hellboy series, is set to release a trilogy of vampire stories. Guillermo teamed up with crime writer Chuck Hogan on the three tales, with the first - entitled The Strain - due to hit stores next summer. Del Toro says,

"The idea is epic in scope. The trilogy advances in unexpected ways and each book contains unique and surprising revelations about the history, physiology and lore of the vampiric race, tracing its roots all the way back to its Old Testament origins."

It is currently not known whether Del Toro plans to adapt the trilogy for the big screen. But with all the buzz over Twilight, I am sure that is the intention.

Selma Blair and Molly Shannon filmed an episode of their TV show "Kath & Kim" at the Burbank Media Center Mall. The show is based on a popular Australian TV series also named "Kath & Kim" and from the looks of the comments coming off this blog, not many people are excited about it. In fact, I get the feeling that people are almost insulted that the show is being redone in the States. As if, whatever comes out of production will be an injustice to the original.

What do you think? Excited to see the show? Or angry that it's being remade?

Selma Blair and her fiance were spotted in Berlin leaving Borchardt restaurant close to midnight. Selma is currently in Germany promoting her latest film, Hellboy 2. Anyone seen it? I did... wasn't too happy when I walked out. BUT it was a date day for hubby and I which means I relaxed for a whole two hours without worrying about spit up, or throw up, or diaper dumps. :)

Selma Blair sat down to talk about her upcoming project Kath & Kim, the American version of the hit Australian TV show and had some choice words about Americans. The actress insists our culture is too obsessed with celebrity. Who us? We are so NOT obsessed!

You don’t think there are some deluded Americans? Hey, how about all of us! "Everyone here is obsessed with tabloid celebrities and their lives and wanting to be like that, just like Kim.

"In America you have the people who watch the Lohans’ reality show and want to be like Dina and Ali Lohan and live in a house with a throne in it. Everywhere! They’re just everywhere!"

NBC held their Universal 2008 Press Tour All-Star Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. Hayden Panettiere, Selma Blair, Tori Spelling, Debra Messing and Ali Larter were in attendance one looking prettier than the next.

Debra just finished working on a movie called Nothing like the Holidays.

The lovely Selma Blair was having fun flirting with police officers as she left the MTV studios in NYC yesterday. I adore Selma and I usually love her sense of style, but I'm on the fence about this one. I'm not so sure about the one piece jumper outfit.  The sleeves make me think of wings.  Did she manage to pull it off?

In other news, I just read a quote from Selma about eating worm tacos that I have to share. Sounds... yummy.

"I had worm tacos. It was a mezcal worm, the one you see at the bottom of the tequila bottle. It’s Guillermo’s favourite thing. They are fried and (they) tasted fine with guacamole. And then I thought about it! So gross.
"Guillermo’s wife doesn’t kiss him for a week after he eats these worms."
