“I got into acting for a girl. I was going out with a girl who was doing drama school. And I didn’t even know you could do drama school. But I was watching four or five movies every day and she was like “you could learn acting” and I thought maybe I could get into films and impress her. I ended up joining the same acting school as her. We broke up a short while later but I’ve been doing movies ever since.”The actor also admitted that he doesn't do films he isn't impressed by leaving him with about three scripts a year to choose from. The only problem is everyone else is vying for those roles as well.
“The general public has this idea that you get to choose and choose and they’re always like ‘You chose that?’ And you’re like ‘No, that was it. That’s why I’m in it.’ There are probably only about three scripts a year that I really like. And everybody else is ready those scripts too. It got to a point where I was fed up with acting. I was fed up with being in films that I didn’t really give a sh$t about. “
I will always love Stuart for his portrayal of Lestat in Queen of the Damned. I read Anne Rice's entire series and LOVED his interpretation of the character.

I'm sure Charlize Theron has a really big house. So big in fact that a guest would have a hard time finding the powder room if they weren't familiar with the floor plan. Naturally, Charlize would have to direct her friends to where they want to be. Does she use her Oscar as part of her plan?
A source from the NY Daily News is claiming that Charlize uses her Oscar to help guide people to the bathroom. The source is claiming Charlize would tell her guests,
Take a left at the Oscar."
That's actually pretty funny. I might do that if I had an Oscar. The source also says the statue is clearly in a spot where everyone can see it.
"You can see the Oscar clearly from the hallway. You can't miss it!"
What do you think? Does this sound like Charlize? Is this actress someone that would throw the statue in the face of her friends? Or is it so harmless that it's no big deal?

Let's talk lipstick. I want to get a lipstick similar to the one Charlize Theron is wearing and I was wondering if you had any favorites that you could share. I've been told that I should smoke out my eyes and go very light on the lips. I typically wear Fresh Brew from MAC which is light but in the brown family. I have never shopped outside that color and wouldn't even know where to start.
Any favorites? It will be most helpful!
Back to the pics. Stuart Townsend was accompanied by longtime partner Charlize to a screening for his upcoming movie, Battle in Seattle at Clarity Theatre in Beverly Hills. Stuart wrote and directed the film while Charlize starred in it. The couple that works together...
Activists arrive in Seattle, Washington en masse to protest a meeting of the World Trade Organization. Riots and chaos ensue as demonstrators successfully stop the WTO meetings.
I love how Charlize is posing as they are walking in the door!

I am going to have to split this out into two posts. There are way too many pictures to publish! Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jason Bateman, Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend all attended the LA premiere of Hancock at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Give me a second to put together the post of the other celebrities who showed up for the event.

In July's Glamour magazine Charlize Theron opens up about the lack of desire she has to marry Stuart Townsend. How can she not want to marry him? Heck, I WANT to marry him. :) Imagine being in a seven year relationship with the guy and not wanting to marry? Everyone is different and that is what makes the world go 'round doesn't it?
"Even when I was a little girl I never dreamed of the white dress and all of that. "I want to be clear: I am not judgmental about marriage. I am judgmental about how our government doesn’t want to see the reality of gay and lesbian marriages."
"I think if you are in a one or two-year relationship, love is enough. You can thrive on that. When you hit years three and four, you realize that if you’re going to live with somebody … you have to be nurtured emotionally and spiritually, and you have to be intrigued. Because if that intrigue runs out, you’re not going to want to go home anymore."
Charlize also doesn't mind that her man flirts a bit with others. In fact, she isn't worried about it at all.
"I’ve always said that I worry about being with a man who doesn’t flirt. I love that Stuart can watch tennis and tell me that he’s got a crush on a tennis player. We’re not meant to just like one person. But (that) doesn’t mean you go and build a life with another person."
