1. Sports bras are now being made in bra sizes so make sure you get the right one.


2. Look for less stretch between the bottom band and the shoulder strap.


3. Bras usually last 100 washes and will then wear out so make sure to get rid of your old, ratty sports bras.


4. Make sure you match your sports bra to the type of activity you are doing from a low-impact bra for yoga to a high-impact bra for running.


5. Road test the bra in the dressing room as much as you can by engaging in abridged version of your exercise activity.
