I love that! In fact, when hubby and I went to Vegas a few weeks ago I toyed with the idea. We just didn't know where to go to do it and didn't have a car to drive around and find out.
Lucky for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, a minister is always on call for high profile clients. At 12:30 in the morning, the couple started to call around to find someone that would remarry them in their Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse suite. By 3:30 AM, they were successful and said I Do once again.
"It was totally a spur of the moment thing," a source said. "They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers."
Will you be the type to remarry your spouse over again at one point in your relationship?

I don't really get the point. I mean, they're already married, and it's not like it's been 25 years or something. I just don't get it.
There is a story on the internet on Jennifer's recent interview that paints her in a negative light. She needs to do damage control; what better way for her to suddenly realise, "I want to renew my vows" and " I want the media to know". So covinient for her, it gets release to the press so quickly. Jennifer Lopez is pathetic, desperate and getting stale. She needs to stay in the limelight.
i agree and to do it in the middle of the night too????? crazy stuff. now if it's their milestone anniversary ok, but never in the middle of the night.
My husband would probably make some comment like why would I want to marry you again, once was enough. We have been married a looooooooooong time. But I would do it, just don't think the hubby would do it. We are going to Hawaii next month, I thought about doing it then, we'll see. This trip is for our anniversary anyway, so what better time.
Why on earth would they be doing this at 12.30am??? Don't these people sleep??
I think that's queer. They haven't been married long enough for it to mean anything.
Today is my husband and my 6th wedding anniversary but I wouldn't do anything like that unless it were a 10th or 25th. I guess in celebrity years it's sort of a like a 10th or 25th right? Aren't celebrity marriage years sort of like dog years?
Haha! I completely agree about the dog years comment. 1 year to them is like 5 or 7 years in normalville.
Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!
I doubt this story is true. I mean, come on? A middle of the night renewal ceremony? Yeah, that seems likely. Pardon me resorting to sarcasm here.... :-)
My husband and I renewed our vows this past summer. We are married 10 years and its a very sweet and romantic thing to do. Maybe it sounds weird because there aren't a whole lot of happily couples STAYING married these days. I see nothing wrong with it and maybe they chose that odd hour to avoid hords of reporters and people snooping on them.

I agree with Anastacia - If you don't think this article is legit, vote on it here: http://www.howlegit.com/link/link_details/jennifer-lopez-and-marc-anthony-renew-their-vows-
I agree with Tiger1962... I have a wonderful marriage. We'll be together 6 years Feb 14th. We eloped in St Lucia, but we always say (every year really) that we want to renew our vows. Time just escapes us with all the hectic holiday stuff. I think 10 years will be the renewal date for us though. I'm proud to say my vows again! JLO on the other hand.. they just got married. I'm guessing someone is insecure?
Homewrecker..yes. But love the going -with- the -moment of it all. Married 15 years. Would be fun to do it again for the kids to see the LOVE..
My parents renew their vows every single year. At my church, they have a mass one day every month for it. You just go during your anniversary month, and a couple of people all renew their vows together. Yesterday my parents got married for the 35th time :)
Overall itis a great idea, but in case of JLO and Skeletor there are should be no worries. Skeletor is hooked on her, so unless she releases his testicles he is safe.
well i dont know why just because shes jlo that everyone is flipping out. like cynthia said, theres a lot of people that renew their vows every year. i mean heidi klum & seal renew their vows every year! sure jlo does or said some not-so-likeable things before, but i mean its hollywood. theyre entitled to all things crazy, so i dont think we should be all that criticising here.unless when its harmful, in which this case, is not =P
I think its great! I"ve been married four years and we got married in Vegas, Eloped at 12:30am .. LOL (yes, people in Vegas DO stay up all night -- who goes to Vegas and tucks themselves into bed at 10pm?:). My husband and i are more in love now than when we got married, a lot more... one day we will look eachother in the eye and renew every vow we said. Why do it? -- Because people forget their vows.. Hence the divorce rate... nothing wrong with a reminder and renewal of it all.
I think its great! If it makes them happy, why not?! Why question it?!
From Supia: "i dont think we should be all that criticising here." Ahem, we've been asked to give our opinion, that doesn't necessarily mean we are criticising them if we don't agree with the renewal. I personally find it a bit strange. Why do you need a ceremony to tell your partner your wedding vows which are pretty much that you love him, etc. etc. You can do that at home everyday. Why the need to do it in public?
I am not jealouse, seriously what is the point, but J Lo couldn't find something else better to do?? How about charity or sorting out your closet, again!
who cares...
mooooooooooooooooooooooooooo flygirl, moooooooooooooooooooo!!! i hope they filled enough troughs for her. what a cow - and yes, FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO WITH YOUR WORTLESS TIME! why can't she just go away, FOREVER! she sucks my butt....
My hubby and I got hitched in Vegas and we'll be celebrating our 5 year anniversary next week! Time flies! If you ever toy with the idea of renewing your vows in Vegas again, check out Lake Las Vegas Resort. It's about half an hour from the strip and we had a very small wedding (less than 10 people were with us) on a yacht! Gorgeous location, and we didn't have to pay very much either.
