Let's Talk Britney Spears

Who saw the documentary? Who has it TIVO'd and will watch it tonight? (me)

Britney Spears opened up last night about every facet of her life in MTV's new hour long documentary, Britney: For The Record. The special featured Spears in dance rehearsals, chatting with Madonna backstage at the Material Girl’s Dodgers Stadium show in Los Angeles, visiting New York for record label / fragrance meetings, and trying to avoid scary paparazzi encounters.

I found a TON of quotes online, so let's just get started.

On always being out getting coffee, driving or shopping:

"My babies represented home… and every time I went home, it was like, ‘Oh God, I can’t be here, so when I was in my car and when I was driving, I was going somewhere."

On wishing she could lead a normal life with her children:

"Most celebrities have, like, three or four people on them and they can actually get their stroller out and walk their kids to the supermarket. I’ve seen Jessica Alba at the supermarket, my little sister goes to the supermarket with her baby; I can’t go anywhere with my kids."

On wishing she'd gone home instead of stay in LA after Federline split:

"You would have thought that I would have gone home, like, I would have taken the kids and I would have gone to Louisiana. I think back now and I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I, in that fragile state of mind?’ I’m breastfeeding one kid and the other one’s with me and I have a nanny. "Why didn’t I just up and go to Louisiana?"

On everything Britney's had to endure:

"I’ve been through a lot this year, actually the last two or three years and my trust has really been battered. I’ve definitely grown up, big time. I’m very weary of a lot of things. Very protective of myself.

"You are guarded, you have to be that way, otherwise you get taken advantage of and get in situations like I did.

"I had certain people in my life who were just bad people and I was very guarded at first but then I went to a point where I ended up letting them in, because I was lonely… and I really paid the consequences for that."

On her new guarded outlook on life:

"Now I try to avoid situations from the past that may threaten me… I go through life like a karate kid."

I wasn't going to put Britney Spears or Victoria Beckham as the lead in this post just because we've been seeing SO MUCH of them lately. But I couldn't help it! Look at Victoria's outfit!

She really knows how to put together a look. Even her hair (which I HATED when she first cut it) is adorable. Victoria wasn't the only one spotted at an airport last night. A few of our favorites took to the skies and were snapped walking through the airports.

Britney Spears In January's Glamour Magazine

Breathe Heavy posted Britney Spears' scans from January's edition of Glamour magazine. She looks so clean cut - just like when she first came on the scene. It's like we've come full circle with Britney.

I've said it before and I will say it again - her team should kidnap Amy Winehouse.

What have we hear? A smiling, happy Britney Spears? Could it be she feels good about her recent performance on the Bambi awards? Did you miss her segment? Click here to check it out.

Our pop princess took some time to greet fans from the balcony of her room in the hotel 'Plaza Athenee' in Paris. You can see a photographer standing right next to her which leads me to believe they are going to use this positive footage on Britney's website or documentary.

New Britney Spears Rolling Stone Pictures

Britney Spears' official website has new pictures up from behind the scenes during her Rolling Stones shoot. I like seeing these sorts of shots, because, if you're like me, you probably wonder just how photoshopped a picture really is. Behind the scenes gives us a chance to see what the real non-airbrushed version looks like...

In other news, Britney's list of demands for her appearance on the X-Factor is so extreme that Simon Cowell's getting annoyed.

-No one is allowed backstage while Britney is there.

-Contestants on the show are not allowed to watch the performance from the wings of the stage.

-No one, not even the judges, can have a picture taken with her or get an autograph.

-She gets three dressing rooms.

-Security has been tripled.

And insider at the show says,

"To say it is over the top is an understatement. That not even Simon Cowell or Cheryl Cole can ask for pictures with her is beyond belief."

Britney Spears Takes Fashion Advice From Madonna

What do you think? I can see the resemblance. But keep in mind, Britney Spears' new album is entitled Circus. This could just be a playoff of that theme as well. While making her first stage appearance at the German Bambi Awards since her performance at the MTV VMAs last year, Brintey decided to wear the following outfit.

Our favorite pop singer received the gong for Best International Pop Star and then went off to thrill fans with a remixed version of Womanizer.

Britney Spears Crash Dieting For X-Factor Appearance

Britney Spears was hands down known for having one of the best bodies in Hollywood for a long time. This picture with the snake...HELLO ABS! And she's determined to get back in killer shape again. Britney is so worried about her appearance on the UK's X-Factor show that she's resorted to crash dieting her way back to her old body.

"She goes to bed hungry and is dieting so hard she's suffering from insomnia, anxiety, flushes and shakes."

Her family is trying to stop her from doing things the unhealthy way.

"Her father and the people around her are trying to get her to eat more, but Britney is determined not to be criticised for having any extra bulk."

Ever since she's been back on track, we've seen nothing but pictures and videos of Brit at dance rehearsals. You'd think with all that exercise she wouldn't need to take the diet to such extremes in order to lose weight. Then again, she's under an immense amount of pressure and from her last VMA performance she knows how it feels to take tons of body criticism. Personally, I'm just excited to see her take the stage again, whether or not she's a few pounds heavier or lighter than she used to be...
